I'm Misty Dosier—competitive shooter, self-defense enthusiast, NRA Certified Range Safety Officer, software engineer, MBA, mom, Nonnie, gardener, weightlifter, and co-owner of a brand built for women who believe preparedness and personality go hand in hand.

My journey into shooting sports began in January 2025, when I started formal firearms training. What was supposed to be a new skill quickly became a passion. Before long, I was competing, pursuing certifications, and immersing myself in a community filled with strong, capable women who challenged me to learn, grow, and push beyond my comfort zone.

Along the way, I noticed something missing. While there are plenty of voices in the firearms world, there weren't enough conversations that reflected the experiences of women like me—women balancing careers, families, personal growth, and a commitment to self-defense and Second Amendment rights. There was also a surprising lack of merchandise and content that felt authentic to our community.

That's why this blog exists.

You'll also find encouragement for those who are just getting started, because I firmly believe every experienced shooter was once the person asking their first question and stepping onto the range for the first time.
