Misty Dosier

For Misty Dosier, the journey into shooting sports began with a simple decision: invest in the skills and confidence needed to protect herself and the people she loves. What started as formal firearms training in January 2025 quickly became something much bigger.
Rather than easing into the sport, Misty jumped straight into competition shooting, embracing every opportunity to learn, improve, and challenge herself. Along the way, she discovered a community filled with strong, capable women who shared her passion for self-defense, personal responsibility, and continuous growth. She also discovered something else: women in the firearms community were often overlooked when it came to merchandise, branding, and content.
Too often, products designed for women shooters felt like an afterthought. The choices were either overly tactical, overly pink, or completely disconnected from the real experiences of women who train, compete, carry, and advocate for their Second Amendment rights. Misty knew there had to be a better option.
As an NRA Certified Range Safety Officer with CPR/AED and Stop the Bleed certifications, she became increasingly passionate about helping other women gain confidence around firearms and self-defense. Whether she is mentoring a first-time shooter, sharing lessons learned from competition, or encouraging someone to take their first training class, her goal is always the same: help women realize they are more capable than they think.
Professionally, Misty brings the analytical mindset of a software engineer and the strategic perspective of an MBA. Personally, she is a proud mom, devoted Nonnie, gardener, home cook, and weightlifter who understands the balancing act many women face between family, career, and personal growth.
Together with her business partner, she helped create a company built around a simple belief: women should not have to choose between strength and style. The mission is to provide apparel and merchandise that speaks directly to women in shooting sports, self-defense, and the broader firearms community—women who value preparedness, independence, and freedom.
Today, Misty continues to compete, train, and advocate for responsible firearm ownership while building a brand that reflects the voices of women who are often underrepresented in the industry. Her message is simple: confidence is earned, preparedness is empowering, and being protected should look as good as it feels.
Sassy Gear for Serious Defenders. Because capable women deserve gear that represents who they are.
